Santa Lucia, in some religions, is known as the patron saint of the blind. We have been so lucky to connect with the Santa Lucia group of Omaha, their 2022 Queen, Abby, and her friends and family through their volunteer work with Outlook. Now it’s time for their annual Santa Lucia Italian Festival featuring all your favorite Italian foods, desserts, music, dancing and games. Admittance is free. Food and drinks are available for purchase. Outlook will there adapting an Italian favorite, bocce ball, with beeping balls to make the competition accessible for our blind and low vision friends. Meet up with our group to tour and taste the best of what the Santa Lucia Festival has to offer!
